We are wanting to make parents in the area aware of a whats app group that has come to the attention of Police via a local school. The school have been alerted to a whats app group titled “Add everyone you known (goal 1000 members)” This appears to be a nationwide group that has spread very quickly but contains images and content that is not suitable for under 18s. We strongly recommend that parents monitor their children's activity on these apps and ensure correct privacy settings are activated to help keep their children safe online. |
